Heidi Lubin is an Oakland-based artist, currently finishing her Master of Fine Arts in Studio Practice degree at the California College of the Arts. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Scripps College in Organizational Studies with an emphasis in Studio and Community Art. Before her graduate studies, she dedicated her time to teaching in community organizations focusing on art education, advocacy and youth. Lubin has exhibited at The Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, SOMArts Gallery, The Richmond Health Center and Scripps College. In addition, she has received grants to develop youth arts projects in oral history and photography through the California Stories Grant fund (California Council of Humanities) and the IMPACT Social Entrepreneurial Awards.
