The wait is a Social Practice Art Project built in the Consulate General of Mexico as a symbolic space where identity, life and dreams come to wait
Founded in 1907, California College of the Arts (CCA) is noted for the interdisciplinarity and breadth of its programs. It offers studies in 21 undergraduate and 11 graduate majors in the areas of fine arts, architecture, design, and writing.
The gallery at the Consulate General of Mexico in San Francisco was established with the goal of organizing exhibitions and cultural events to promote the Mexican arts and culture in the Bay Area. Its main focus has been visual arts exhibitions but it is turning into a cultural space, showcasing concerts, performances, readings, film screenings and lectures.
